Catherine is a Trainee Solicitor within our Wills and Probate Department dealing with Will Drafting, obtaining Probate, arranging Lasting Power of Attorneys, and assisting in elderly care advice under Melissa’s Supervision.
Catherine graduated in 2008 from the University of Portsmouth with an Honours Degree in Law and Criminology, and went on to study The Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford finishing in 2011. Catherine began her career as a Property Lawyer within a national firm, in 2012 and is an experienced residential conveyancer dealing with all types of Sales and Purchases of Registered and Unregistered Land, Freehold & Leasehold Properties, advising on implications of owning a share in the freehold, advising on estate rent charges, and implications of purchasing a short lease with service charge provisions, Shared Ownership and Right to Buy.
Catherine will be undertaking a Training contract at Thomas and Thomas, working within the Wills and Probate Department, serving the wider community of our Maesteg and Treorchy offices dealing with Will Drafting, obtaining Probate, arranging Lasting Power of Attorneys, and assisting in elderly care advice under Melissa’s Supervision.
In her spare time Catherine enjoys helping within the local community, spending time with her family, eating out, and enjoying the Welsh Countryside, and is always cheering on her son playing Rugby early on a Sunday morning rain or shine.
